MUSIC IN THE LAKE PRESENTS
THE SWEET LOWDOWN
Music In The Lake begins its first full season Thursday, September 23, with an open stage at 7:30 PM followed by our feature performers at 9:00. This month we welcome The Sweet Lowdown, for those with a weakness for old time music and bluegrass.
With Amanda Blied on guitar and vocals, Shanti Bremer on banjo and vocals and Miriam Sonstenes on fiddle, The Sweet Lowdown can be heard on their MySpace site, so we don’t have to tell you how good they are. Give them a listen for yourself, then come to hear them at Lower Centennial Hall in Lake Cowichan on September 23 and hear them for the ridiculously low price of five dollars.
